My 2014 top 15

Thank you for following my blog this year and allowing me to share my creations.  I am planning to make fewer cards next year and concentrate on more sewing projects…well, we’ll see.

I have made approxiamately 200 cards this year and you can imagine how tricky it is to narrow it down to a few favourites, but here goes!  (In no particular order.)

Lili of the Valley stamped image and papers from the Bo Peep collection.

Polkadoodles  made into a birthday card using DoCrafts papers

This is an Emma Canning digi, available from Polka doodles and the papers and embellishments are from Hot Off The Press.

I think this is my favourite.  The papers were from a Tattered Lace magazine and the digi is by Jellypark.

But this is a very close second!  Made entirely using a Polkadoodles CD, I did a lot of fussy cutting to make this circular card.

Wishing you all a happy and blessed new year.

Challenges:

Bike boy!

My son is going to a birthday party next week so I used a Kenny K image to make this card. The background paper is from Crate and the black mat is a Kanban diecut.  I used a sentiment from Hunkydory and coloured it with a Promarker to match the digistamp.

Steampunk birthday

I love this sassy steampunk image from Kenny K and have used it a few times for cards now.  Today I have mounted it onto a mat cut with my favourite Spellbinders die and then onto a kraft card.  The sentiment is from Docrafts Wellington collection and the gems are from my stash.  Red is my favourite colour and I love this combination with brown/kraft.

Kitchen Goddess

Today’s card is another one made for a person retiring from my school this term. She had worked in the kitchens at our school for 27 years!

The digistamp is fron Kenny K and the backing papers and toppers are from Hunkydory.  The twine, bunting and heart button came from The Hobby House.

Tag shaped card

Good morning – I missed posting yesterday, so I am posting nice and early today.  I have made a card today that is shaped like a tag.  Ribbon was added to the front to help create the illusion of a gift tag.  All the papers and enbellishemnts came from Kanban and were part of last uear’s range.  I cut the fence using  spellbinder die.
