So, a fiftieth party of fizz and cake, for two friends who like running! I found these two perfect digis on Polkadoodles’ Etsy store and used backing card from Hunkydory. I cut some of the backing cards to use the bunting and cupcakes as embellishments. And di dthe inside too. (Apologies for the ascribbling, I should have photographed before writing), I then made a gift tag using the same Hunkydory kit.
Creative Moments has lots more fun cards at there Just fro Fun challenge this week!
Today’s DT card is for the new Creative Moments challenge – use twine. I have usaed a card from Angies digi stamps, who is sponsoring this latest challenge. The card blank and sentiment came from a Dawn Bibby collection and the super-sprkly jewels are from Papermania. The twine and flower charm are from my stash.
And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
Today’s card ismade from some lovely new stamps I got at the Hobby crafts show at the NEC last month. My friend, Anne bought me some beautiful stamps from Lavina stamps and I bought this sentiment from Clarity. I made this card to thank her using Letraset Aquamarkers.
This fortnight’s challenge is Creative Moments is sponsored by QKR. They produce the most wonderful sentiments for cards as well as digi stamps. I have teamed the sentiment with a fabulous free image from Jade Dragonne. The chosen backing papers match the tea and cake theme perfectly and I cut some elements form the papers to embellish the image. The swirl I used is fromSpellbinders and is called corner flourish two.
The merciful man does good for his own soul, but he who is cruel troubles his own flesh.
For this card I have combined two digis from A Day For Daisies. I have used one new Spellbinders on the corner and an old one at the base of the card. There is a little frosted brad to left which is from Papermania’s Hampstead range.
Rejoice in hope, be patient in ribulation, be constant in prayer.
Hello, here is a quick reminder of the Creative Moments Challenge which started yesterday. This is a lovely image is from Stitchy Bears and is ideal for friends suffering with alopecia or illness. I have coloured the image with Promarkers and made it into a card using papers called Parisian Dreams, which came free with a magazine earlier in the year.
