Creative Moments Challenge – April showers – May flowers

This week’s Creative Moments challenge is sponsored by My Besties.

I have used a digistamp called April Flower Cart .   It is coloured with Promarkers and I have used a Promarker to colour the doily and die-cut bunting too.  The sentiment is from Hunkydory and the papers are very old and from my stash.  This is such a lovely digistamp!

Forever Friends card and gift box

Looking through this weekend’s challenges I got the idea for this card.  I needed to make a card for my friend’s birthday and had no idea what to buy as a small gift. IMAG2253-1 IMAG2248-1 I am currently using up old stash and this is from Docrafts’ Forever Friends Black and Gold kit.  I made the decoupage card first, and added some Papermania flowers.

I had the box with some socks in for Christmas and never like to bin a sturdy box so covered all the logos and writing and decorated it to match the card.  I filled the box with truffles in paper cases.  I loved the outcome of this project – hope you do too!

The project is to be entered into the following challenges: – Anything goes – Valentines and Love – Anything goes – lets get cute    Happy crafting, Leona x

DT card for Creative Moments Challenge

I had such a lovely time making up these DT cards.

The digis are wonderful to work with and colour. The first digi comes from Glitterbabes and was made into a card using papers from Daisy Trail.  Though it was the winter set I loved the way the paper looked like driftwood.  I had a happy accident with the printed image that got creased as my daughter climbed over it on the sofa.  I screwed up the bottom even more than used the creases as a base for my rocks.

The second was coloured slightly differently and assembled using Debbi More papers and embellishments from one of her inspiration magazines.

I love this little mouse digi that is from Floppy Latte  I have seen the sentiment used with rain images on a few occasions before, so printed this out using the computer.  I don’t usuallydo the super embellished cards but I wanted something really special to send to a much loved relative.

Hope you like the DT cards.  Enter the challenge by clicking the logo to the right.
