A gift [TAG] for you

After a successful couple of weeks as guest designer at The Cheerful Stamp Pad, I have been asked to join their design team.

I have a tag to share today, made using a digikit and digistamp flower called Retro Flower.  The kit is by Coosty Creations and is available at the Stitchy bear outlet.

Tag shaped card

Good morning – I missed posting yesterday, so I am posting nice and early today.  I have made a card today that is shaped like a tag.  Ribbon was added to the front to help create the illusion of a gift tag.  All the papers and enbellishemnts came from Kanban and were part of last uear’s range.  I cut the fence using  spellbinder die.

My patriotic little tag card will be entered into the following challenge:

Tags for a farewell tag tree

Our curate is leaving our church this month having completed his training, and is moving to his own parish in The Netherlands.  He has been with us for 3 yers and he, his wife and their 3 children will be greatly missed.  Instead of cards, it was decided that every member of the church would complete a parcel tag with a personal message so that the family can hang them in their new home as a reminder to their time spent in the West of England.

“How lovely” I thought, then, “How dull!”  Of course I couldn’t just write on a plain tag so have decorated some for my family to complete.

I’ve used various brands to create these tags – the one in the middle is mide with a Christian scrapbook paper from Time to Sow.  I made a simple collage to highlight the phrases  thought most appropriate.  The other two were made using Hunkdory ‘Timeless Elegance’.
