My 2014 top 15

Thank you for following my blog this year and allowing me to share my creations.  I am planning to make fewer cards next year and concentrate on more sewing projects…well, we’ll see.

I have made approxiamately 200 cards this year and you can imagine how tricky it is to narrow it down to a few favourites, but here goes!  (In no particular order.)

This is an Emma Canning digi, available from Polka doodles and the papers and embellishments are from Hot Off The Press.

I think this is my favourite.  The papers were from a Tattered Lace magazine and the digi is by Jellypark.

But this is a very close second!  Made entirely using a Polkadoodles CD, I did a lot of fussy cutting to make this circular card.

Christmas giftbag

I have used a plain paper bag and a Debbi Moore Papercraft lit to make today’s project.

We have a busy day today with our Christmas card exchange family lunch and extended famly for Sunday tea.  My aughter and I will also be singing at the Christmas service in a local retiremnet home.  Better get off the computer and start my jobs!

Friends are not just for Christmas…

Today’s card is a decopage card mounted on some musical papers in an aperture card.  I have used two delightful Forever Friends angels from DoCRafts.

Christmas village

I made a few of these cards this year, to sell in packs of three.  I embossed a card base with snowflakes and used glue gel to affix a topper frrom My Paper Stash.  The card is finished with a silver ribbon.

Birthday girl

Here is a card made from Hunkydory products.  I have layered the topper onto a scallopped mat and added a sentiment from the kit too.  The card is finished with a few colour-co-ordinated gems.

Creative Moments Challenge – Winter

The latest challenge at Creative Moments is sponsored by

I have made a card using Skating Polar bears.  The bears were coloured using Promarkers in Ivory and Saffron, plus the blender, I was watching a wildlife program last week and saw that polar bears are quite yellow in colour.  The reds used were Maroon and Ruby and the snowy sky is Cool Grey 1.  I have use papers from a Tattered Lace magazine with a Nordic theme.  The ornate die at the top of the image is from Spellbinders and the DAD is a Tonic die.

The card is finished with some Debbi Moore glitter and a few gems.

As free as a bird

I have used vintage Kanban for today’s card and taken a little break from Christmas.  This card is for a teacher who is leaving my school ay Christmas – she’s going back to university. 2014_12_14 (2)2014_12_14 (3)

Creative Fingers Challenge – Traditional Christmas
