Holly angel

I have used a Lili of the Valley topper for this Christmas card.  I matched it with some holly decorated paper from my stash and a topper printed from a Pollyanna Pickering CD.  Alll elements were mounted onto dark green before being assembled on the card.  I used some rustic jute ribbon behind the topper for a little texture.

My 2014 top 15

Thank you for following my blog this year and allowing me to share my creations.  I am planning to make fewer cards next year and concentrate on more sewing projects…well, we’ll see.

I have made approxiamately 200 cards this year and you can imagine how tricky it is to narrow it down to a few favourites, but here goes!  (In no particular order.)

Lili of the Valley stamped image and papers from the Bo Peep collection.

Polkadoodles  made into a birthday card using DoCrafts papers

This is an Emma Canning digi, available from Polka doodles and the papers and embellishments are from Hot Off The Press.

I think this is my favourite.  The papers were from a Tattered Lace magazine and the digi is by Jellypark.

But this is a very close second!  Made entirely using a Polkadoodles CD, I did a lot of fussy cutting to make this circular card.

Wishing you all a happy and blessed new year.

Girl’s birthday

The rubber stamp used to make today’s card is from Lili of the Valley. The Rabbit is coloured with Promarkers showing how beautifully soft the colours can look.   The papers I have used are from a collection called Little Bo Peep and the wording is glittered stickers from Forever Friends at DoCrafts.

Here is the sketch I used and rotated:

Dragon

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalm 27:1

I have had these baby dragon toppers from Lili of the Valley for some time but I have started to work through my stash.  This is a really simple card using tearing and distressing around the egdes to make it less pretty and more boyish.

Follow your dreams

Back to colouring for today’s card.  I have made a boy’s card using a LOTV image and some free papers.  I bought the stamp from LOTV about 2 years ago and it is perfect for whimsical boys’ cards.
