I was 50 this year and therefore am making lots of 50th cards for my friends. Today’s card is for a very dear friend and I have used paper from The Craft Consortium – from their Over The Hedge line. The 50 topper was a die set from Spellbinders and pearl numbers from my stash. the embossed backing cards is from a Core-dinations pad. I printed the banner and mounted it with the same backing paper. Some more paper was used inside as with such an ornate front it couldn’t be left blank.
So, a fiftieth party of fizz and cake, for two friends who like running! I found these two perfect digis on Polkadoodles’ Etsy store and used backing card from Hunkydory. I cut some of the backing cards to use the bunting and cupcakes as embellishments. And di dthe inside too. (Apologies for the ascribbling, I should have photographed before writing), I then made a gift tag using the same Hunkydory kit.
Creative Moments has lots more fun cards at there Just fro Fun challenge this week!
Tomorrow is my husband’s birthday so I made this card using a digistamp from Just Inklined and coloured using Spectrum Noir Pencils. It was printed on kraft Neenah so the skin tones were a little easier than usual! And in case you were wondering, this is supposed to depict me and my hubby at our Ballroom Dancing class, though heaven help him if we do ever have to attempt this move!
I do like a CAS card, so here is another one today. I printed out a design created on Craft Artist 2. The artwork came from a Victoria Nelson Digikit called Birthday. I printed oued just the kites from the image and cut them to layer them up usg foam pads.
The latest challenge at Creative Moments is sponsored by Oddball Art. I used Lizzy Love image and coloured her with pik hair for the birthday of a teen I know. The background was made using a Serf digikit call Wild Hearts by Peppermint Creative.
