I have made a huge batch of Christmas cards using Hunkydory’s Miracle of Christmas pack. This car is my favourite. It is not clear in the mage, but the frame around the main topper is raised on foam pads as it the sentiment.
Today’s card shows two delightful Mice Skaters who are pretty in pink! This digi is from
He is usually known for darker and more Gothic images and this digi could be coloured that way too, Ihave gone cute though! There is more pink inspiration on Creative Moments and you can enter the challenge there to win digistamps from Rick. The backing paper is from Hunkydory and the sentiment is made using a Die-ire die.
I coloured the sweet fairy and her friends using Promarkers and embellished with some wooden lasercut toadstools, which are also coloured. The sentiment was typed onto the page before printing – all ready for Mothering Sunday, next weekend. The wings were printed separately to allow me to shape and decoupage them for dimension.
There is a new challenge starting today at Creative Moments. This fortnight’s theme is Spellbound. I have chosen this beautiful, frozen-themed digistamp from Sassy Studio Designs for my card, and teamed it with some free papers.
I am using a Drawn with Character digi today, it it a simple silhouettte that is a perfect foil for this Daisy Trail digikit, which is called New Year 2012. The Banner is cut from a Joanna Sheen die and the tiny heart embellishments came from the same die-cut. the topper is finished with frantage in shabby white and is mounted onto a giftbag.
I have made a Christmas card, by duplicating and flipping the digistamp and using it to frame a sentiment typed out in Serif CraftArtist 2. After being coloured with Promarkers, the topper was cut with a decorative Spellbinder die. It was mounted up using free papers which came with one of the magazines from Intermediate Media last year.
I have a rubber stamp with this sentiment and I use it and reproduce it in so many of my cards as I love it.
