I have so enjoyed working with these lovely Mirtillamente images this month for the August Creative Moments Challenge. I have followed the sketch but changed the shape for my reminder card. the image used is called Flow Moon and was made into a card using mis-matched papers from my stash but following the same colour theme.

the optional Twist for this month’s challenge at Creative Moments is a sketch, shown above. I have used s digistamp from Mirtillamente called Fairytale Mushroom House. I am a sucker for a mushroom or toadstool so earlier in the year I couldn’t resist a card kit from HobbyCraft called Artisan Woodland. All the papers and embelishments came from the card kit and are perfect for this cute Mirtillamente design. There are three mushroom houses in the range to take a look here – I think I’ll need to get the lot!

This month I have discovered that I am not very good at colouring leaves! But even simple colouring can be really effective if you are working with great artwork. This image is called Garden 13 and is coloured with Promarkers before being mounted simply. It is from Morgans Artworld where you can find an amazing variety of digistamps and artwork for craft and journalling. I have not used the whole digi stamp but a fragment as the artwork is versitle and can be easliy adapted by cropping or trimming.
