Creative Moments Challenge reminder – Photo inspiration

I have made a second card this month using a Hetty Clare digi and using the photo inspiration, Working in lilacs has been such fun this month and I just used a sticker for the sentiment as the line of it matched the chef’s legs. The digi I used is called  Birthday Chef and is available on the Hetty Clare Etsy site where there are dozens of beautiful and fun digis for all occasions.

The challenge at Creative Moments is open until the 7th June, So please do join us and enter your creation for the chance to win a prize from Hetty Clare or Mirtillamente.

Happy 18th Birthday!

Our second son was 18 yesterday. I made this card using a Mo Manning digi image and papers from the Very Fine Chap line from DoCrafts( I have had them for years!) I printed a greeting but the happy 18th came from a pack of cake toppers.

Vanilla cupcakes
White Chocolate and orange cake

Anyway we all had a great time. Especially him!

Happy Birthday Mum

Today is my Mother-in-law’s birthday so I made this card using a Hunkydory free gift! I know free – look how lovely it is! I added the gems from my stash and the sentiment is upcycled from a card I received on my birthday – such a great match.

We are self isolating so can’t see her today but wishing her a very happy birthday.

Creative Moments Challenge – Anything goes

This week for My Creative Moments Design card I am working wth a digistmap called lovely lillies from

Pink and green is always such a pretty combination, partially because of theor positions of the colour wheel but mainly becase it looks so fresh! Can you tell I’m longing for spring? I have coloured it with Promarkers and mounted onto a pink card blank, CAS style.

Creative Moments Challenge – Anything goes

Not often I make a card for boys with bling!  But on this fabulous Digi from Sheepski it goes well.  Do take a look at the other DT cards over at Creative Moments and enter the new challenge starting today.

I have coloured the image with Promarkers and used tiny adhesive jewels for the buttons on the gaming handsets, in order to give the card a little dimension.  The backing paper is from a 6 inch pad from Paper Cellar.

Creative Moments Challenge – Anything goes

Well Hello from Bristol this Mothering Sunday.  I have just watched Songs of Praise which was a blessing.   I have been treated today but still miss my own mother , despite it being nearly 19 years since she went home.  I feel for those who can’t be with their loved ones today, due to risk of viral infection, especially my own sister who is home alone with her low immunity :-(.

But to look on the bright side…  In between distance teaching and marking my classes work, I think I will get in more crafting than usual over coming weeks and some time in the garden.

My DT card for Creative Moments this week is made using a digistamp called Flower Doodles from

I coloured the image using Promarkers using really subtle colours.  It was then mounted on a 7 x 7 ” patterned card.  I have decided which friend will get this card.

Creative Moments Challenge – For the Girls!

Greetings!  My blog posts seem to be few and far between these days – I can only put this down to the pressures of work and family.  I have three teenagers at home and I am a teacher.  This week has been 1/2 term.  so that has been lovely and I have managed to get some crafting in.  This does mean that I will be spending the weekend working though…

But to more enjoyable matters.  My DT card for Creative Moments is made using a digistamp called Stardust 3 , from:

I coloured the image using Promarkers and then dug out some very old stash to mount it.  The papers are from Hot Off The Press – one of my favourite paper brands.  I had a small amount of this paper left and cut around the flowers and butterflies to make it look as though the little figure is pepping out from behind the flowers in the garden.  I finished off with a sentiment topper from Hunkydory and some iridescent glitter.

Creative Moments Challenge

For this week’s challenge I have used part of a digistamp.  This is such a vertitle stamp from Sheepski, called Breezy Beach Walk.  It can be used whole for a card for a girl or lady, or cropped to a seascape to make a gorgeous card for anyone.  I printed onto watercolour paper and coloured with Aquamarkers.
