Creative Moments challenge – Swirls and pearls

A friend loves at all times

Proverbs 17:17

This fortnight’s challenge is Creative Moments is sponsored by QKR.  They produce the most wonderful sentiments for cards as well as digi stamps.  I have teamed the sentiment with a fabulous free image from Jade Dragonne.  The chosen backing papers match the tea and cake theme perfectly and I cut some elements form the papers to embellish the image.  The swirl I used is fromSpellbinders and is called corner flourish two.

Beautiful Ballerina

This lovely image is a Jade Dragonne one.  Jade is so talented and I just love colouring them.  This ballet dancer looks so like my friend’s daughter that I made this with her in mind.  The line of pearls across the top, and the charm, are from a broken necklace. The backing paper came in a pad that was free with a magazine.
