Wow! Christmas

This White-on-white Christmas card is made using a digi stamp from Heather Ellis.  Made into a square topper, matted on gold, it has been mounted onto  glittery vellum to make a 6 x 6 CAS card.

The miracle of Christmas

I have made a huge batch of Christmas cards using Hunkydory’s Miracle of Christmas pack.   This car is my favourite.  It is not clear in the mage, but the frame around the main topper is raised on foam pads as it the sentiment.

Creative Moments Challenge – White

For today’s card I am using a beautiful digi from Scribbles .  I printed the design and cut out layers and mounts using a die set from Creative Expressions.  This was layered up and positioned over some pretty pearly braid.  The backing card is from My Paperstash and used a a pretty painted wooden angel and two white poinsettia as final embellishments.

Three Kings

Athough I love using and colouring digi stamps, every now and again I like to get out proper wood-mounted rubber stamps.  Here I have used two and then embossed the images with black embossing powder.  It seems strange to use black on a Christmas card (and indeed as I schoolgirl i was once marked down for designing a wrapping paper that had a black background) but with with the silver foil on the Kanban backing paper, I still see the light in this card.

Holly angel

I have used a Lili of the Valley topper for this Christmas card.  I matched it with some holly decorated paper from my stash and a topper printed from a Pollyanna Pickering CD.  Alll elements were mounted onto dark green before being assembled on the card.  I used some rustic jute ribbon behind the topper for a little texture.
