For my sister

I have made this card using Serif craft artist and a digikit called Owl Forest.  A few elements were printed separately in order to create some dimension.  This is my favourite saying.

Jasper is 12!

I is my middle child’s birthday today and I have made him a card using a digikit called RockStar from Daily Trail.  The cards is flat and has a co-ordinatinting insert.  The font came from a different digikit.  I love the simplicity of this card as my boy – like most 12-year-olds is not into fussy cards.

Camping sleepover invitation

We have had a manic weekend at Leona’s, which all started with 10 children (as well as my own) coming to camp in the garden on Friday night.  This is the invitation I made using a Daisy Trail digikit called Summer Camp.  Much fun was had by all and we were blessed with warm, dry weather.

I was glad to get to bed as Hubby was in a tent in the garden too!

Creative Fingers Challenge – buttons

I am using a Drawn with Character digi today, it it a simple silhouettte that is a perfect foil for this Daisy Trail digikit, which is called New Year 2012.  The Banner is cut from a Joanna Sheen die and the tiny heart embellishments came from the same die-cut.  the topper is finished with frantage in shabby white and is mounted onto a giftbag.

    This is the second week in the For a man challenge at The Cheerful Stamp Pad.   This great slogan comes from Sentimetal Susan and is available at Stitchy Bear Outlet.   I have team the digital sentiment with a Daisy Trail digikit called Swirling Memories.   I really love the effect of the lamp post shadow.

    Fight off the lies

    Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident.

    Psalm 27:3

    My family has been under attack lately, and it is so hard to love your enemy when they are hurting the ones you love the most.  People who should know much better are behaving disgracefully.

    Anyway, I have I found this website to help guide me:

    how to control your emotions {25 Scriptures to Help Fight off the Lies}

    and it encouraged me to have a play with some digikits in Serif.  The background is from Heaven’s Delights by Scrapper’s Delights and the butterflies and foliage is froma a DaisyTrail free kit called Moonlit Forest.  The text is from the best selling book ever.

    Scrapper’s Delights – Freestyle Blog hop

    Hello and welcome to the Scrapper’s Delight Freestyle bloghop.

    This fortnight I am using the fabulous Pixie Corner digi-set 1.  The fairy, tree stump and toadstools have been coloured with Promarkers andcut out, then mounted on a Daisy Trail backing paper.  I loved the way the spots on the paper looked like a trail of fairy dust behind her and I enhanced it with pale green glitter.  The sentiment is from my stash and is from Hunkydory and the gem swirls were from a Hobby House kit (see yestrday’s post!).
