Happy 18th Birthday!

Our second son was 18 yesterday. I made this card using a Mo Manning digi image and papers from the Very Fine Chap line from DoCrafts( I have had them for years!) I printed a greeting but the happy 18th came from a pack of cake toppers.

Vanilla cupcakes
White Chocolate and orange cake

Anyway we all had a great time. Especially him!

Creative Moments – Just for fun challenge

I am so deigghted with tnhis new paper from Stampin’Up!  combined with a hand-coloured image from Mo’s Digital Pencil – it is perfect for my sister’s birthday today.  She loves to wear orange and I love to wear red – though we carry a few more years than in Mo’s gorgeous digi image.  And our mother loved toadstools.  Summer might just have officially started but I love these autumnal colours together. I have used Promarkers to colour the girls.

The sentiment comes with the image too.  DO take a look at Creative Moments for more beautiful projects and to enter our challenge.

Gorgeous girl

Today is my baby girls’ 10th birthday.  I shred hre card a few weeks ago but am posting this one today made with a MO Manning image that reminds me of her; my daughter always seems to have her head in a book!  I think red and blue is my favourite colour combination on cards.

My firstborn is 14!

Wishing a very happy birthday to my clever, hansome, kind firstborn son.

This is one of the cards I have made for him using a Mo Manning digistamp. I have used age numbers from Kanban, a self printed sentiment and 2 leaves from the little book of sentiments for men from Hunkydory.  They have been layered at rightangles behind the coloured image and placed onto a gignhambackground.

My 2014 top 15

Thank you for following my blog this year and allowing me to share my creations.  I am planning to make fewer cards next year and concentrate on more sewing projects…well, we’ll see.

I have made approxiamately 200 cards this year and you can imagine how tricky it is to narrow it down to a few favourites, but here goes!  (In no particular order.)

Lili of the Valley stamped image and papers from the Bo Peep collection.

Polkadoodles  made into a birthday card using DoCrafts papers

This is an Emma Canning digi, available from Polka doodles and the papers and embellishments are from Hot Off The Press.

I think this is my favourite.  The papers were from a Tattered Lace magazine and the digi is by Jellypark.

But this is a very close second!  Made entirely using a Polkadoodles CD, I did a lot of fussy cutting to make this circular card.

Christmas stocking

I have used a Mo Manning image to make today’s card.  It is called Timmy’s Stocking  and is available in girl images and afro-caribean styling too.  I have coloured the image using Promarkers and have mounted the image simply with papers and a sentiment free in  magazine this month.  I hav added a bit of sparkle with Debbi Moore extra fine chameleon glitter on each tree bauble.
