Creative Moments challenge: Give Thanks

Good morning,

For the new Creative Moments challenge I am using Wishes from Polkadoodles. The backing papers are from First Editions, the thamk you fie from Tattered Lace and the heart garland die from Sizzix.

Today’s card is stamped using Clarity stamp. The image was stamped and embossed then cut out using a circle die from Spellbinders. It was matted onto an embossed pale gold sheet and then holly leaves were die-cut from the backing paper and used to make a wreath around the stamped image.

I have three children so have to make cards for each of them to give to my sister as well as making aunt cards for my own aunts. Those of you who have follwed my blog for a while will know hat my sister is keen on a CAS card so I have made his one usng letter beads set onto a glass-charm ring. The background has been embossed with a tattered lace embossing folder and I cose a ribbon with owls – she loves owls!

I have made quite a few cards in his type of style this week. Most had bows in the centre above the glass charm-ring but Than I decided to used the trimmings and found it makes for a much neater finish. The embosed background is made with a Tattered Lace folder.

My sister is getting married this year, and as our dear Mummy is no longer with us I am rather taking on her role; of course this has nothing to do with my being bossy and controlling at all! Over the coming weeks and months I will be sharing some of our plans and preparation.
