Making the most of what I have card

Today’s card is made using a Polkadoodles digistamp.  The little tag is from Hunkydory and the metal flower is a bead from an old necklace!  The flowers were assemled from bag-full that was given to me. and the papers are from a Polkadoodles pad that I think was free with a magazine, so this card was almost free to make and is perfect for the birthday of one of my daughter’s friends.

I have made this from a Hunkydory kit. It is set on a gold case base.  I love that the buttons have stars in the middle to match the backing paper.

Flowers and bling

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

This is a card made using a Hobby House kit.  I bought this last year and have recently used the last three toppers.  I still have plenty of bling, ribbon and backing card left from the kit and can thoroughly recommend The Hobby House for value.

The topper features a Mo Manning image and apart from the card base, everything you see came in the kit.  I have edged the card with Tim Holtz Barn Door distress ink.

Favourite card this year

SO difficult to choose except that I think this is my favourite EVER card.  I won top 3 at A Day for Daisies Challenge with this Christmas card and spotlight artist at Liastampz challenges as well as tp 3 at Natalie and Amy’s challenge, LEJ designs and The crafty Cafe.  This was a DT card made for Creative Moments’ “vintage” challenge.
