Mothering Sunday is fast approaching and this card is made using the Simply Floral range from DoCrafts. The flowers are decoupaged for dimension and then layered over the decorative border.

Today’s post is my DT card for Creative Moments. I have used Kick off Ted from Di’s digi designs . It’s worth taking a look as Di’s digis have some super digistamps for spring. Kick off Ted is coloured using Derwent colouring pencils.

Forever Friends is such a sweet brand. I remember them being introduced in the early 90s. I have used Docrafts products to make this card on a black card blank.

I have made a series of hanging hearts for St. valentines day and Mothering Sunday. All the papers and tags used are from Docrafts and I have just added the white lace and the flower on the third heart. The fist two hearts are made with the Simply Floral collection and the flowers were cut out by hand and decoupaged using foam pads. The hearts are whitewashed wood and were purchased inexpensively from Country Crafts.
Challenges:
I have used a vintage Kanban topper for today’s card. Because of the red cord, jewels and peel-off wording, I decided not to mat the topper but to allow the soft colours to blend into the white card base.

I have used dies and an embossing folder to make this Valentine’s day card. The sentiment is a silver peel-off and the whole design is layered onto a silver mat.

I have used Papermania’s Midnight Blush capsule to make today’s card and turned it into a valentine’s card using some red mirror card and two glitter hearts.
