CREATIVE MOMENTS CHALLENGE –

This delightful digistamp from

https://www.thepapershelter.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=799

is designed for St. Valentines day but I was making Christmas cards and the pattern on her dress put me in mind of a row of Christmas trees. I snipped out the valentine’s heart and mounted with Christmas trim upcycled from one of last year’s cards. Don’t you just love it when digistamps are super versitile? Have a look at the Creative Moments challenge blog for more inspiration with this digi.

Coffee is always a good idea

I have used a pre-coloured digistamp from The Paper Shelter for today’s CAS card.  Ihave paired it with an sentiment I saw somewhere which just matches!  Just one square of patterenedpaper was used from my stash to make the border mat.  I sell some of my cards in a coffee shop so this card will go in the rack there.

Me and my laptop

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Jeremiah 29:11

I am using a pre-coloured digi from The Paper Shelter today. I have quite a few of their digis and they are great as they all come with a coloured version and a background.

This image is just like me: glasses, cake, coffee, loads of hair and glued to my laptop.  I have added a sentiment from Hunkydory.

Cellist from The Paper Shelter

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace:

1Peter 4:10

I have made a musical card for today’s project.  The Digistamp is from The Paper Shelter, and is called Cecilia.  I have coloured her using my ever-trusty Promarkers, using the following colours:
Hair: Buttercup, Mustard, Sandstone, Cocoa
Skin: Sunkissed Pink, Blush
Dress: Pear Green, Moss
‘Cello: Walnut, Rosewood, Terracotta, Honeycomb

The papers I have used are called Prima Botanical and were free a while ago with the magazine, Simply Cards and Papercraft.  The sentiment stamp was free from the same magazine and is stamped onto a fussy-cut segment from the paper pad.

I cut the music from a Sizzix decorative strip – my Sizzix dies are rather neglected since I bought my Grand Calibur, but still have so much to offer.
