I have made a card using Skating Polar bears. The bears were coloured using Promarkers in Ivory and Saffron, plus the blender, I was watching a wildlife program last week and saw that polar bears are quite yellow in colour. The reds used were Maroon and Ruby and the snowy sky is Cool Grey 1. I have use papers from a Tattered Lace magazine with a Nordic theme. The ornate die at the top of the image is from Spellbinders and the DAD is a Tonic die.
The card is finished with some Debbi Moore glitter and a few gems.
This image is a fabulous freebie from Nikky ay Polkadoodles. I teamed the coloured image with MCS papers that came free in Making Cards Magazine last autumn to make 7″ x 7″ card. The bow is made from an old yoyo string that was coloured using Colorbox chalk in Bisque and Vintage photo distress inks. The papers and image have been lightly distressed with the same inks.
Have I told you that my sister is getting married? Well I have a very busy few days leading up to the first but I just wanted to share this gift I have made for her.
I bought a really cheap and cheerful 8″ scrapbook album from The works. I intend to make digital scrapbook pages of the wedding. I decorated the album using lace scraps from the dress, My Paper Stash embellishments and old necklace and some paper flowers from my stash. For the inside front cover I used a fitting sentiment on a topper also from My Paper stash and mounted it onto a mat made using Spellbinders. As I will give this gift before we have wedding photos, I have printed out the first scrapbook page.
This card has been made for my husband who is fabulous and has just got a new job. My children will give him this when he starts. The backing papers and embellishments are from My Paper Stash and the image ia a rubber stamp from LOTV.
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
This is a sweet Mo Manning digi. I have diecut card from My Paper Stash, using Spellbinders. The papers are not Christmas paper (because I’ve put all my Christmas paper away in the attic!) however, as the colours match the colours of the image I don’t think it is obvious. I have embossed ordinary printing paper for the background and it alsomet looks like snow swirls.
“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it”
Hello, I am sharing the card I have made for my daughter, for Christmas today. It is an 8″ x 8″ card and the beautiful image is a rubber stamp that I bought before last Christmas but never used. The backing papers are from My Paper Stash.
