I wish I’d brought my Promarkers

I am away this weekend at Center Parcs in Longleat.  One weekend a year I am part of a group of 8 ladies who lounge in the hot tub, drink wine and laugh until the small hours.  I am missing my crafting.  It is rare for me to have a weekend off.  No children, no husband, no signal on the ‘phone, no cooking, no washing.  But I’m not enjoying no crafting.  I wish I’d brought my Promarkers.  Usually the weather isn’t quite so bad and we are able to stroll by the lake or along woodland paths.   I left my umbrella at home.  And my coat (and my comb actually) so I am staying in.  This is a time when I should be colouring images to make gorgeous toppers!  Ah well.  time to blog and start the Rose Tremain novel that I bought a year ago…

I should add that I am also missing my family but I’ll see them tomorrow xxx

Too twee?

Too twee?

Well last weekend I was told by a normally pleasant man that he didn’t really like my cards as “they all rather twee”. Of course I was extremely good natured about it; he’s clearly a “blue” personality type.

Anyway, just for good measure I thought I’d post a card which really could not be called twee! Please let me know what you think. The digistamp is from Kenny K
