Christmas Shepherd

I love Christmas and feel that those who say that it’s mainly for the children are missing out!  I make lads of Christmas cards each year but I do like sending ones which have a reference to the ‘reason for the season’.

I made this Christmas card using a rubber stamped image coloured with Promarkers and a sentiment stamp from the same set.  I bought the set for last Christmas but didn’t get around to using it.  Having see the stamped results, I think I’ll be making a few of these this year.

Labradors

We have always had labradors 2 yellow ones and now a black lab.  My younger son calls yellow labs “white chocolate labradors”, which I think is a much better name.  So here is a card with 2 of these wonderful dogs in decoupage.  I think this might find it’s way to my husband for his next birthday.

I have had the die-cut sheet for such a long time that I don’t even remember who produced the kit!

May your dreams have wings…

I am on a bit of a roll at the moment and managing to post every day.  Today’s creation is a card made with a Saturated Canary image.  The backing papers are various (non-matching) bits from my stash and the sentiment is from Hunkydory.

Steampunk birthday

I love this sassy steampunk image from Kenny K and have used it a few times for cards now.  Today I have mounted it onto a mat cut with my favourite Spellbinders die and then onto a kraft card.  The sentiment is from Docrafts Wellington collection and the gems are from my stash.  Red is my favourite colour and I love this combination with brown/kraft.

Almost at another birthday

One thing with having 3 children is that there always seems to be a birthday coming!  For child number two, whose birthday is in September, I have coloured a Saturated Canary digistamp with Promarkers and made it into a card using papers from a Papermania capsule collection.  I ran the yellow paper through a Crafts-too embossing folder to reflect the footballer image.  The sentiment is from My Paper Stash and the glittery peel-offs are from my stash.

Cheerful StampPad challenge – a new baby

For my card for the Cheerful StampPad challenge, I have used 4 separate digistamps from Stitchy Bear for this CAS card. I used Promarkers in Pastel Blue, Cornflower and China Blue. I have mounted the topper onto Bazzill cardstock in matching blue.

Girl’s birthday

The rubber stamp used to make today’s card is from Lili of the Valley. The Rabbit is coloured with Promarkers showing how beautifully soft the colours can look.   The papers I have used are from a collection called Little Bo Peep and the wording is glittered stickers from Forever Friends at DoCrafts.

Here is the sketch I used and rotated:

Keeping it krafty

I have made a card today using a kraft card base and hessian (or burlap as it is called in the US).  The decoupage bear is form Doolicraft and the self adhesive ribbon came from a bargain bin at Hobbucraft some time ago.
