So, a fiftieth party of fizz and cake, for two friends who like running! I found these two perfect digis on Polkadoodles’ Etsy store and used backing card from Hunkydory. I cut some of the backing cards to use the bunting and cupcakes as embellishments. And di dthe inside too. (Apologies for the ascribbling, I should have photographed before writing), I then made a gift tag using the same Hunkydory kit.
Creative Moments has lots more fun cards at there Just fro Fun challenge this week!
I made this card fro my sister and brother-in-law’s wedding anniversary ; my sister has always loved owls. I have used a pre-coloured digi stamp called Cake time from Polkadoodles and it is also available in a blackand white digistamp. The backing papers and sentiment are from there too from a digital paper download .
This is a card made for my daughter’s birthday, which will soon b upon us. I have used a digistamp from a Polkadoodles Work and PLay CD and layered it up with some card and die cut shapes from Kanban. The image reminds me of my daughter collecting our eggs from our hens. The patterned card blank is from Crafter’s Companion’s Faiytopia range and have drawn faux stitching as a border.
One of the things I love most about Polkadoodles’ artwork is the little toadstool embellishments that are found in almost every kit. So, I just had to include them in this card. This card took a lot of fussy cutting, which I normally avoid(!) but , it was worth it .
Today’s CAS card was made using a freebie form Nikky Hall at Polkadoodles. This is from the the digi kit called Rose Budd, which is available on CD. The embossed crdis from DoCrafts. Challenges for today will be:
This is my new Christmas book, for lists, gifts and cards at Chriatmas! I bought a plain A4 book with a kraft coloured cover. I designed a page using Serif CraftArtist 2 and Polkadoodles Home for Christmas CD-Rom. I put the church as central, as for me it is what Christmas is all about. But I have incuded Santa with his sleigh, a heart to symbolise love, 2 international girls, lots of gifts and last but not least, some snow-covered mushroom houses. Why? Because I like them! The fonts used are from my computer.
I cut a length of old ribbon into small pieces and ties a piece to one in three of the binding coils. The other bits of ribbon and lace are from my stash and he bell used to adorn the neck of a chocolate reindeer!
This image is a fabulous freebie from Nikky ay Polkadoodles. I teamed the coloured image with MCS papers that came free in Making Cards Magazine last autumn to make 7″ x 7″ card. The bow is made from an old yoyo string that was coloured using Colorbox chalk in Bisque and Vintage photo distress inks. The papers and image have been lightly distressed with the same inks.
