Well, of course, here in the UK it’s not coldat all! It’s the 1st November and we have just had lunchin the garden. I am still harvesting tomatoes, beans and courgettes and have just pinned a fourth load of washing on the line. Biss.
Today’s card, however, relflects more typical November weather. I have embossed a piece of hand-made, textured paper and mounted a free topper and matching sentiment. This simple card would work as a winter birthday or Christmas card.
This image is a fabulous freebie from Nikky ay Polkadoodles. I teamed the coloured image with MCS papers that came free in Making Cards Magazine last autumn to make 7″ x 7″ card. The bow is made from an old yoyo string that was coloured using Colorbox chalk in Bisque and Vintage photo distress inks. The papers and image have been lightly distressed with the same inks.
