Creative Moments challenge – Vintage

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Isaiah 7:14

My vintage card today has a bit of a twist in that it is for a boy. I have used a deightful digistamp from A day for daisies and teamed it up with all number of bits and bobs from my stash.  I distressed all the edges with vintage photo distress ink for both the vintage look and to get the mismatched pieces of paper to go together!

I’ll be entering the card into these challenges: – Christmas without red or green – christmas – Christmas winter – Christmas – cute for small children – anything goes – all things Christmas – for a child – anything goes – special Christmas – All I want for Christmas – boyz rule – vintage style – add some gold – vintage – use your scraps – for the boys – winter blues – Christmas – non-traditional Christmas colours – vintage – non-traditional Christmas colours – use dies – christmas – vintage Christmas

Don’t forget that you can enter the Creative Moments challenge here.

  1. Thank you for sharing your lovely card, however that particular challenge ended last weekend. Our current one is to ” Create a Scene”. Thanks anyway!! Sarah

  2. It really is a very sweet card, however the little cuties challenge has now ended and our new theme is “create a scene”, if you would like to join in with this, you still have plenty of time!

  3. Ich bin ganz hin und weg von deiner Karte. Sehr schön geworden.
Vielen Dank für deine Teilnahme am Kreativeinkauf-Challengeblog.

  4. This is a beautiful card. I love that you used gold accents against the blue. Silver might have gotten lost. The inking certainly elevates the vintage feel, and the shading of blues is really specials. Thank you for joining ScrapbookerPhD this week. Good luck.

  5. You’ve created a beautiful card, Leona! I must say that I am very happy to see that wonderful Scripture verse at the top of your page! Thanks for joining us at Lia Stampz! 🙂
