Surf’s up – a quickie!

Welcome to September!

I have a quickie Hunkydory card for you today.  You know when they say on the television that this is the type of card you can run upstairs to make when an unexpected visitor arrives?  Well this is the card.  I took a piece of Hunkydory printed card and cut it to 8 ins.  This was scored and folded in half into a DL card.  The Surf’s Up sentiment was added first, as it fitted in the corner so nicely and id a cool sentment for a boy.  The topper was decoupaged with foam pads for speed and voila!  The card was ready in less than 10 minutes!

A September card with memories of warmer days…

  1. For a quick card, this really looks great. Nice design and the papers and embellishments make a great scene – makes me want to hang out on the beach and watch the surfers! Thanks for sharing a great summer goodbye with us at The Perfect Sentiment Challenge.
