Tags for a farewell tag tree

Our curate is leaving our church this month having completed his training, and is moving to his own parish in The Netherlands.  He has been with us for 3 yers and he, his wife and their 3 children will be greatly missed.  Instead of cards, it was decided that every member of the church would complete a parcel tag with a personal message so that the family can hang them in their new home as a reminder to their time spent in the West of England.

“How lovely” I thought, then, “How dull!”  Of course I couldn’t just write on a plain tag so have decorated some for my family to complete.

I’ve used various brands to create these tags – the one in the middle is mide with a Christian scrapbook paper from Time to Sow.  I made a simple collage to highlight the phrases  thought most appropriate.  The other two were made using Hunkdory ‘Timeless Elegance’.

The frst tag – Friends – will be entered into the following challenges:

http://kathyswafflesketchfile.blogspot.co.uk/ – sketch

http://audsentimentschallengeblog.blogspot.co.uk/ – sentiment with word friend

The Tag on the right will be entered into these challenges:
