Simple stamped Father’s day card

I deliberately made this to look distressed and vintage – not my usual style. This trundling car  puts me in mind of the scene from Bugsy Malone, when Bugsy is escaping with Fat Sam from Dandy Dan, “Charlie! Yonkers! It’s a double cross!”

I used 3 stamps from the same set, the car – placed on an angle here, the greeting and the background which was ink one for 2/3 stamps and overlapped to get the design where I wanted it.  It looked good in just bIack but wanted to add some subtle colour so I have coloured the car and drawn and edging line using my mustard Promarker.

They say a change is as good as a rest and this is a change from my norm, but I really like the end effect.
